Sometimes things aren’t what they seem. Here I’ve taken this beautiful peasant skirt and pulled it up, belted it and made it into a dress. Scarves are fun, too, they give you a whole different look.

These are some of my favorite customers. They love to come in and see what’s new. Here they’re trying on a few outfits - and looking fabulous!!

I love wearing tights. Especially in the winter when I can wear thick, cozy ones! Besides keeping you warm, they also allow you to be modest even if you are wearing a short dress, like this one. I feel sufficiently covered up with them.

Often I will choose just one thing I want to wear and then work my outfit around it. That is what I did with this outfit. I love this silk blouse that is loose fitting, so I paired it with a snug black skirt and some tall boots.

I find myself gravitating towards black a lot. Color can be fun, though. If you see something a little more colorful than your usual that you like, try it on. You never really know if you’ll like something unless you try it on. Be adventurous!

I love to wear little wraps, scarves or sweaters. As it gets colder I don’t want to give up my sleeveless dresses or my warmth! So these items are indespensable in cooler weather. Thick tights also help to keep me warm.

Sometimes simple is best. This is just a simple black dress that really didn’t need alot of adornments. Some shiney earings and a sparkly necklace is enough. And of course, boots. I don’t know if the boots are a fashion statement or a rut, but I love them!

Just because you wear jeans doesn’t mean you should just slap on any old t-shirt. Here I’ve layered a couple of tanks and then dressed them up with a cute sweater. Awesome boots always look good!

Macrame is fun to play around with. This macrame dress is layered over a black tank and black leggings. You can layer so many things over that basic outfit. If a dress is really short, layer it over solid leggings. If a shirt is too sheer, layer it. A little layering can go a long way!

I love this vintage dress! The high neckline on it isn’t good for me, though, so I layered a sweater over the top. I swore I’d never wear socks with heels, as I’ve seen in fashion magazines these days, but I’m willing to try anything once, and I actually liked the look with this outfit. Anyhow, we’re dressing to please ourselves, not anyone else, right??
